Ingredients: 400g chick peas (either previously soaked & cooked or canned ones), 3 finely chopped medium onions, 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint, 1 cup grated zucchini, 2 chopped tomatoes, 4 tbsp flour + 1/2 cup for dredging the keftedes, salt, pepper, some oil for frying.
Method:
Place the chick peas in a food processor and pulse on and off with the metal blade until they are coarse and mealy. Combine with other ingredients making sure that the mixture isn't too thick. Take about two tablespoons at a time of the chick pea mixture an shape into large patties. Dredge the patties lightly in flour and fry until golden.
