Duck Aiguillettes (sliced duck fillet)

Duck Aiguillettes (sliced duck fillet).


  • 300g sliced duck fillet
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • juice & zest from 1 orange
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • olive oil for frying
  • garnish: orange slices & sesame seeds


  1. In a bowl combine all the ingredients and let the meat marinate for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
  2. Take it out of the fridge, shake off the excess marinade and fry the duck slices in olive oil for 5-7 minutes or untill almost done.
  3. Pour in the rest of the marinade onto the frying pan & let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Serve with orange slices & sesame seeds if desired.
