Heat milk over low heat without bringing it to boil, then add cocoa. Stir until combined.
Melt chocolate in a microwave or using a bain marie.
In a bowl, using a wooden spatula, combine butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Add eggs one by one, then flour and baking powder. Split the mixture into two bowls.
Into one stir in 50g walnuts, milk/cocoa and melted chocolate. Into the other - 50g walnuts, orange zest and orange extract.
Grease and line the base of a loaf tin (18cm long) with baking parchment.
Spoon alternate dollops of the mixture into the cake tin, then use a skewer to create a marble pattern by dragging it through the mixture in swirls.
Bake at 180°C for about 1 hour or until a skewer poked in comes out clean.
