Cooked with LOVE, shared with PLEASURE...

Fresh Fig Cake Recipe.

Ingredients:

* Use your yogurt container as a measuring cup

1 cup plain yogurt
2 cups sugar (I put less)
2 cups flour
1 cup almond meal
75 butter, melted
3 eggs
1 sachet vanilla sugar
1 sachet baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
500g figs (about 12-13 medium figs) cut in halves

Instructions:

In a bowl sift flour & almond meal.
Add baking powder, salt, cinnamon.
In a separate bowl beat eggs, sugar & vanilla sugar until pale & creamy, then add yogurt.
Mix all ingredients together.
Add butter.
Transfer into a baking dish.
Decorate with figs.
Bake at 180°C for 25-35min.
